Kavi HarilelaPrincipal
Kavi has a more than a decade of experience in corporate finance, during which time has held a number of management positions. His prior role was the Executive Vice President of AID Partners Technology Holdings Limited, where he heads the investment team.
Prior to AID Partners, Kavi spent almost eight years at KPMG focusing on corporate finance, particularly in the finance, technology and consumer goods sector. He has a breadth of experience leading corporate M&A activity including acquisitions, disposals, fund raising and private equity deals. He also has worked in other major financial powerhouses, including PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Kavi holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Kingston University in the U.K. and a Masters Degree of International Business from Monash University in Australia.
Kumar HarilelaPrincipal
Kumar has been working with the Harilela Group of companies since 1979. The Hong Kong based group have holdings in various hotels, properties and business ventures worldwide. Experiences include, but not limited to; Management type negotiations, dealing with banks and finance institutions, legal and contractual situations.
During the last twenty-seven years, he has been based in Thailand where he was oversaw the development of the company’s 700 room hotel in Bangkok, in addition to five other properties in Pattaya. These are all developments which Kumar was involved in from inception to execution.
Kumar holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.

Dino set up his first business at the age of 15, and in the years since, has developed multiple ventures in the areas of real estate, food and beverage, fashion, commodities, venture capital, and supply chain solutions. These operate in many countries around the world.
He co-founded Iris Group in 2007 and has continually been involved in its growth ever since, dedicated to building lasting client relationships based on integrity and trust.
Jason KayVenture PartnerJason is 18+ year veteran of the media and technology business, where he has served as an executive and advisor to companies such as Activision, Columbia House (sold to Blackstone Group); Home Box Office (a division of Time Warner), and News Corporation, working on digital media initiatives, entertainment finance, and corporate strategy.
Mr. Kay began his career in the video game business at Activision in 1995, Mr. Kay later co-Founded Flektor with Naughty Dog co-founders Jason Rubin and Andy Gavin, and helped to grow the company from idea to acquisition by Fox Interactive Media in less than 13 months. Mr. Kay holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Magna Cum Laude from Tulane University and a Juris Doctorate from the USC Law Center.
In addition to his venture partner role, Mr. Kay serves an advisor to the senior leadership team at Magic Leap, a privately held developer of Mixed Reality hardware and software.
